Aries Carbon/KDF®85 combination cartridges use ResinTech® coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) in combination with KDF®85 media to significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. KDF® 85 is a bacteriostatic redox media that inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the filter while removing hydrogen sulfide and iron. Sized to fit standard Slim and BBhousings.
