Aries Carbon/KDF®55 combination cartridges use ResinTech® coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) in combination with KDF®55 media to significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. KDF®55 is a bacteriostatic redox media that inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the filter while removing chlorine and reducing heavy metals. Sized to fit standard Slim and BB housings.
